Meet the team
Chris
An avid fan of all things outdoors, Chris has been leading people on adventures in the Lake District for over 10 years. He is qualified through Mountain Training UK as a Mountain Leader and Rock Climbing Instructor
Chris has worked as a ghyllscrambling, canyoning & rafting guide over the world, including New Zealand & the Austrian Alps.
He is qualified by the ICO Pro (International Canyoning Organisation for Professionals) & the International Rafting Federation
Chris spends his winters in St. Anton, Austria as a Ski Guide and Manager with Kaluma Ski.
Andy
Andy has been helping people make the most of the outdoors for over 40 years. Running trips in the mountains of the Lake District and traveling far afield in Norway, Canada and Greenland,
Andy has been delivering Mountain Training courses since 1982, training and assessing teachers, youth workers and the up and coming instructors in the outdoor industry.
Andy has qualifications in Teaching, Ski Instructing and Sailing and is a WMCI (Winter Mountaineering & Climbing Instructor) and an IML (International Mountain Leader).
Eva
The ultimate adventure dog and an important part of the Cockermouth Adventures team, providing help and support in her own special way. Eva has been with us since Christmas Eve 2010 and loves nothing more than to join us in the mountains.
She is qualified through the international framework for woofing adventure dogs.
